Douglass Adams was lovely when they could convince him to write.

Yes. His books where very good and I really liked them.

The ideas in them were brilliant! I loved the bit with the Infinite Improbability drive. The petunias.

Yes. It's such a smart book disguised by the comedy genre. He must have been such a smart man. It would have been fascinating to talk to him.

There's a lot of his speeches recorded here or there.

Yeah, I've read them at the library. But I have a feeling they are pale in comparison to actually HEARING the guy talk!

But I guess we make the best of what we have.

Passion is a nice thing to have. It makes doing thing much more fun when you enjoy what you do.
