We're friends - more often than not, partners in Glee - but that's the extent of it, really. He wanted a fantasy version of me that simply doesn't exist, and I couldn't go through with it. To be fair, I wasn't - am not - in much of a state to give what's left of my heart to anyone.

No, Jesse. I understand what heartbreak means. What lying, cheating, and being two-faced mean. I understand excessive cruelty and losing your heart and feeling like nothing will ever be righted again. I understand not being able to fall out of love, no matter how hateful or cruel the other person was.
