Its starting to get out of hand. This is about getting the job done, and she's keeping us from doing that.

You think I wouldn't stop it if I could?

I'm not so sure anymore. Would you?

You know I always try to stop her ruining our plans, Arthur. She won't interfere with our latest plan. It's too complex for that.

Or maybe just complex enough that one little hitch will throw a wrench in the entire job. It in the details, Dom. This job isn't like all the others - if just one thing is off, it can ruin everything. I hope you know that.

She laughed softly, shaking her head, "Don't worry about it, it's kind of like living in a choose your own adventure book."

"Funny. Well, I was never really a fan of those books," he smirked ever-so-slightly.

"Really?" She asked, head cocking, "I thought everyone liked them, at least for a little while."

"I always skipped ahead to see what would happen with each choice," he shrugged a shoulder lightly. "They never really turned out like it would have in real life."

"See, I always used post-it notes to backtrack if something went wrong." She shrugged, "I was a weird kid like that."

He smirked slightly. "That's not weird. Those books were never entirely realistic, anyway."

"Someone recently photoshopped a bunch of the covers, changing the titles to be more like what was pictured on the cover, I thought it was hilarious." A crooked smile, "And if they were more realistic they'd be really boring."

[She stirs, looking at the needle where it broke off just before it would have entered her arm.]
