[Jem frowns and whispers:] I didn't say anything.

But if it wasn't me, then who... Oh God. I think we should run.

[...O_O] I think that's a good idea. [And he turns on his heel, not even sure if he's running in the right direction and drawing a seraph blade as more of an afterthought than a defensive action.]

[He sprints after Jem, drawing his bow from his back. If he can get far enough away... And he'll just be knocked over now.]

[Yes. This Alec swears a lot.]

[Jem is not impressed with your swearing, but of course he has to come back and help Alec. The Drevak is practically on top of him when Jem throws it off and away with swipe of his blade. Whilst the demon's on it's back, Jem reaches down a hand to help Alec up.]

Come on, they're fast buggers. [What was that he said about language?]

[He takes Jem's hand and pushes to his feet, sprinting while picking up his bow again. He turns and looses three arrows, hitting the Drevak head on.]

You wanna finish this one?

[Jem just nod and turns, advancing on the Drevak where it's thrashing and spearing it through. Before he has a chance to back off the tail catches his cheek, slashing the skin. But the thing dies well enough. Jem presses a hand to his cheek, breathing heavily from the effort as he heads back over to Alec.]

Are you alright? Your face... You haven't got any venom in you, have you?

[Oh Alec, if only you know. He winces and then checks the blood on his hand.]

It's clean. Could you do the healing rune for me? I don't think I have a steady hand right now.

[He will try not to sound excited as he says...]

I'm Alec. You'll probably need to take off your shirt. You know, for an effective iratze?

[Which is total bullshit. Alec is awesome at drawing Marks.]

[~~Oh really now?~~ Jem just nods because he knows that marks nearer the heart can be more effective. Especially healing marks. Basically, he's oblivious to most ulterior motives.]

Oh, of course, yes. [He unbuttons his shirt, which is in shadowhunter black of course, and slips it off.]

[Alec draws the iratze, being careful so he hopefully doesn't hurt Jem. And he'll just quickly check him out too. Perv.]

[She stands still and looks through the curtain of her hair splashed across her face.]

[He is not afraid to know this girl out. Fact is, there's a Drevak coming their way.]

[She closes her mouth and squeezes her lips together. Staying quiet is not the easiest thing for her. She looks at the dark haired guy and wonders how she got herself into this.]

Good. Good. Now, whatever happens, don't scream.
