"Yes," and there is a note of caution to his voice. The dark-haired woman is not his Rose, less a mortal and something far beyond- a goddess of legend perhaps, the sort of being that civilizations told stories about in hushed, awed tones, passed down to their children's children.
The Doctor's customary joviality has since stretched thin on his journey. He crams his hands into the pockets of his dark coat, feeling the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.
He visibly hesitated, then quipped, "Glue us together at the hip, our wanderlust gets us into far too much trouble. But no, you-" Sliding his glasses up his nose, the Doctor ventured closer to the other Rose.
The comment made her giggle some, "I don't think there's enough glue in the universe that'd keep that wanderlust from seperating you two."
But then he asked what happened to her, and she frowned, "when my Doctor sent me home from the game station, I took in the heart of the TARDIS to return to him, but..." she trailed off remembering that day and all the pain that came with it, "when I got there he was gone, dead I stopped the Daleks and tried to bring both him and Jack back but only managed to save one." Rose sat down letting out a breath as the memories came back to her, like a plague, "I collapsed, the entity was killing me and I couldn't release it, eventually I died, but somehow I came back." She paused amoment trying to hide her emotions from him, "I later learned that the entity rewrote my entire DNA makeup, turning me into this instead of killing me." There was more to the story then she said but unless he asked she wasn't going to tell, it was far to painful for her.
[! TARDIS! Some of his anxiety leeches away at the sound of her voice. The Little Girl is warm at his back, almost quivering from excitement. Another like her? Oh my!
Safely locked up, the Doctor leaves her to attend to, by all reckoning, her mum.]
I'd know that telepathic link anywhere. Hello, Lovely.

*My child... Such determination in one so young. What has happened?*

*Is she doing well?*

Glorious. Her first cross-dimensional jaunt, feisty and just as keen to push the envelope as someone else I know.

*Yes, I always did have difficulties trying to calm the Doctor down.*
[Oh she knows he's talking about her, but she can't resist some playful banter, now can she?]
Because in my head this is taking place a little bit after the reunion in my thread....
She walked closer to him and put a tender hand on his arm, "We're together again. That's all that matters, yeah?"
's coo'!
