Oh, it's you again.

[identity profile] spongetastic.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
You mean screwing with time once wasn't enough?

[identity profile] spongetastic.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
So what's different "this time"?

[identity profile] spongetastic.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
Nathan..?

[identity profile] withshiningeyes.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Not always, certainly.

I don't think there's a person in the world who could honestly tell you they don't wish there are mistakes in their past they wish they could erase. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least a dozen things I would have happily changed. On balance, however, I believe the dangers are too high and the consequences too unpredictable; even the smallest of interferences runs the risk of altering people's lives forever. To take a popular cliche, prevent a butterfly in Brazil from flapping its wings, and who knows what else might be influenced?

So, no; I wouldn't change the past. Better, I think, to learn from history's mistakes that we may prevent them from being repeated.

Have a girl!Peter, feel free to ignore.

I've always believed that too.

Hi!

[identity profile] alteredestiny.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I do.

[identity profile] wasonceniceguy.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
'Course it isn't. [don't mind Adam, he's just thrilled his future changed...]

[identity profile] snarky-blonde.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
So there's hope for us yet, huh?

[identity profile] snarky-blonde.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter...

Always the dreamer.

[identity profile] snarky-blonde.livejournal.com 2011-03-10 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[Smile graces her lips]

That was sweet.

[identity profile] snarky-blonde.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
I like those moments.

[identity profile] gotasweettooth.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I guess that's good to hear.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
No, it is not.
