(She smiles back and walks over and sits down on the stool)

Isn't it like this all the time?

Most of the time. [She leans against the bar beside Yori.] But during the Games, when programs have something else to watch instead of each other...it's quiet. Or so I hear.

I can understand that. Most programs are down at the Games because of CLU aren’t they? (She looked at her strangely) Do you get lonely here then?

[A short shake of her head.] I am a Siren. My function is to outfit programs for the Games. I spend my free time here. I have never seen the place empty. [Somehow, faintly, she sounds sad, like she longs for even a microcycle alone.]

Oh right I’m sorry. (She looks worried that she’s offended GEM)

[The slightest suggestion of a smile crosses her lips as she glances back at Yori.] Don't be. It's my function.

I imagine that you see loads of programs then at the Games and here, you’re very lucky. What about your friends?

I operate in perfect synchronicity with the other Sirens.

[There's a short pause before she speaks again, lifting her gaze to the private lounge at the floor above.]

I have also known Castor - the owner of this establishment - a long time. We're very close.

(Yori nods at that) Do the other Sirens come in here sometimes?

[GEM focuses on her suddenly, her gaze unblinking.] What is your function, program? What brings you here?

(She looks unsure if she should tell her, but decides she ok)
