You know, you're going to wear that book out if you keep reading it like that. [He smiled softly.]

"I'll have it memorized by then." Chances were she already had it memorized, really.

Well, that is true I suppose. [He smiled at her and was pleased she was picking up reading so fast.]

I'm pleased with you, Quorra. You learn pretty quickly.

She tilted her head, brow creasing just slighty, "Is it supposed to take longer?"

She smiled then, nodding once, "Alright." She liked reading, it was one of her favorite things. She always said she liked learning things almost as much as she liked knowing them.

How does one go to sea in a sieve? [The idea both perplexes and amuses her.] Wouldn't a ...ship - the word is ship, if I'm not mistaken - make a better vessel?

"Well, that's kind of the point of the story, I think, everyone thinks they're crazy for trying, but they have adventures and meet all sorts of creatures. And finally they get home all grown up, which is the end of every story, really."

"Well, this one is Around the World in 80 Days, and it's apparently his most famous story, but it's about a man named Phileas Fogg and his assistant Passepartout and how they go all the way around the world in 80 days and the adventures, and misadventures they have." She smiled, "I've read it a hundred and thirty seven times."

She blinked, "One hundred and thirty-seven. This will be one-thirty-eight." She cocked her head then, looking puzzled, "Is that weird? I've read Journey to the Center of the Earth more times, I've read it two hundred and three times."
