(ooc: *Will's mun quickly reads your character info* before we get them interacting, should Will just be "wtf, ASHLEY?!?!" or do you want me to go with your backstory for Emily?)
[Will fails to notice her at first. He's too busy trying to explain to the damned barrista that he'll take ground up no-doze in his damned cup of Kona if the espresso machine isn't working. He could really use some caffeine to fight off the headache he's getting.]
It just had to be fairies, too. Couldn't have been giant scorpions or people from the center of the earth again. Nope, fairies!
[He giggles helplessly because it's entirely too ridiculous that he just got his ass handed to him by a bunch of pixies. But at least he managed to round them all up in the end.]
Just as well that they weren't. I didn't have a harpoon gun to use as a club this time...
[He accepts his coffee from the poor barista with a wink, dropping a decent tip in the jar so he won't call the cops on the gooey lunatic and his young friend.]
[Will joins her with a soft sigh, fishing a bottle of ibuprofen from his pocket and popping a couple. Days like this, he wishes he was in a league remotely close to that of the people he works with.]
(Emily stares at him for a moment. Boy with that bump on the head and the goop... the goop!) Oh wait I forgot. (She takes a hands him a lemony fresh wet wipe.) Here, for the goop.

Really can't you just order a regular cup of coffee. (Although she could see that he might really need it.)

There are days when I can, Em. They are not the ones that involve getting attacked by a flock of pissed off fairies.
[He smiles weakly at her, rubbing the goose-egg on his left temple.]

(Oddly enough there was another coffee with his. She had ordered it without him noticing. She smiles at Will. ) Thanks for the coffee.

[He'll be blaming not noticing that on the concussion he probably has.]
Any time, Emily. Join me?
[Smiling, he gestures to an empty corner booth where he can enjoy his caffeine without drawing too many stares.
