The years bleed together after a while.

I suppose they do. Maybe it's because I came of age last year, but I reckon I don't feel much older now.

Well, eighteen is quite the year in the Muggle world, you know. Mind, being with Tuney and Vernon you might prefer to ignore the Muggle heritage,

I wonder if Dudley will use his new stature to free himself from their hold now. Do you plan to let Aunt Petunia know that you're back?

My poor nephew. Such a closed mind simply because his parents are afraid to think outside the box. *...considers* I'm not sure. She's likely happier without me...I wouldn't want to hurt her if she's content.

We made a bit of progress before we had to split up when I came of age. I was thinking of looking him up after things settle. Maybe he will be the one to open their minds a bit. Stranger things have happened.

I think you should. He's family, after all. I'm sure, in the long run, he would appreciate it, even if coping with knowledge is sometimes hard.

I will. I'm rather curious about what he is up to these days.

And I suppose nineteen will feel the same.

The only thing that will feel different is no school and no fearing what will come.

I'm looking forward to birthdays now. I suppose that is the biggest change.

I've found, in my experience, that you don't begin to feel your age until you have children reminding you of it.

I imagine that is true. Recent events have made me feel younger instead of older which is a bit strange. I suppose it is relief that all is well.
