Sometimes I miss home down south.

Where in the south are you from?

Still too far north, then. I'm from 'round Savannah. [And her accent says it all; she's spent some time in New Orleans, and a little up in the northwest for college, but mostly in Georgia.] But you do get to missin' it when you're anywhere else.

Kinda, yeah. I've traveled a bit for college and things, but Georgia's still home. [Her mouth quirks up a little with a soft smile; not many people she meets are from around the South.]

I'm sorry that you don't like it here. It's still the country though. Not glamorous or anything... I can't wait to get to New York for college, myself. I like the city, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. What do miss in particular?

It makes sense. You had friends and such. I'm sure it's hard to move...

No. [she shakes her head.] I've always lived here. That's why I want to go somewhere else. This place just isn't big enough for me. I have dreams that go beyond the provincial life of Lima, Ohio.
