She's watching him curiously.

[every once and awhile, he smooths the matted fur with his finger tips, muttering cheerily under his breath...]

She was content to watch, saying nothing she liked going unnoticed at times.

[eventually satisfied with the matting, sets it aside with some others, wiping excess liquid from his hands; reaches for the last pelt he has--noticing her at last] Oh--salutations, hello and good evening--or afternoon--whatever and whenever the time. I'm never truly and entirely certain myself, you know.

She smiled, "Time's relative anyway..." Rose pointed out smiling some as she looked around.

Oh, terribly temperamental to tight and terrible terms, Time is you know--takes awful offense to most, and holds such grudges for years. Or weeks. My rememory is hardly what it once was--and it may have something to do with the aforementioned man.

[he smiles--there are a few mannequins with unfinished clothing pieces on them--the shelves are filled with baubles, spools of ribbon and thread, reams of fabric, loose needles and pins--and, of course, hats. Fountains of them]

"You speak as though you're one of those people..." There was a little bit of a smirk on her face, "Personal experience with time then?" She was thinking of time travel for some it could drive them mad especially if they were using a primitive device to do so. However she did look around the shop finding the hats quite lovely.

[he picks up the wet pelts and carries them to what looks like a short, rectangular, steel oven near the back of his shop] Yes, regrettably and reputably so, at that. We're not on very good terms, this day or any day.

[he wipes his hands again and turns towards her] Is there or was there any one or two things you may be looking for?
