(no subject)

I have finally discovered an internet.

Congratulations?

Any particular reason for the delay, or are you just one of those people who are unfortunately technologically challenged?

'Bout time, Angel.

OOC: And I hope you, and [livejournal.com profile] mr_crawley's mun will not mind me butting in, but I must ask--
If you only want to interact with one particular person, why post in a public forum? Why not merely conduct a private RP elsewhere?

((I think I agree with Celia. While I understand you and [livejournal.com profile] tartan_angel may have plotlines: Why can't there be casual chatter between like muses? My Adam has talked with several AJCs; SWS is not a place for major RP, it's a place to meet people, a place where "awkward" IS THE POINT more or less.))

OOC: I think it was quite obvious that you know the mun. It was precisely the same sort of thing you say whenever you pick up a muse that someone else has had for a time and then they dare, looking for a bit of fun that would never have to be acknowledged again by the characters, comment to that muse. Which I have seen you do several times.

As for your friend, [livejournal.com profile] anantichrist's mun said it best. This is SixWordStories. Things get awkward around here. Awkward is fun. Your friend could have marked all interactions not with your (newer) version of Crowley as meta. Doesn't affect the character past that conversation. Really, it might even have helped her, since she would not just have your interpretation to play against.

ooc: I think this is the wrong sort of place to have this discussion. I also think some of this is in poor taste.

You are right, is is SixWordStories. A place full of groups that only ever reply to others in that group. That aside, what does it really matter if they choose to play with one version over the other to start? Just let them play, and have their fun without being personally attacked for it. Does it really affect you in the end?

OOC:To be honest, I was completely fine with you interacting with the other Crowley muse. It's your choice whether or not you want to reply to my character. I don't think it's fair to force a character interaction that another mun doesn't want.

[identity profile] silenziosa-odio.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
ooc: I think, more to the point, is the player did not want to see rude in deciding not to reply to [livejournal.com profile] mr_crawley's response. Each player here has the right to decide who and when they want to play. No one replies to every post, and there is no requirement that people talk to everyone that replies to a post. But instead of just brushing the player off and playing with others, they felt the need to explain.

A step in politeness that seems to have caused a bit of an issue. I don't see a problem with this request. Particularly considering I have seen players do worse in this community. Let them play how they wish to play. As an open forum there is no rule dictating they they must play with multiple versions of the same character. Not everyone here does.

Took you long enough didn't it?

[identity profile] pinstripedemon.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Hard to say really. I suppose in theory its a rather short time comparatively. But you certainly didn't rush onto the bandwagon did you?
