Especially when you're in law enforcement. You should see my grandfather when he gets time off. He has no idea what to do with himself. It's hilarious. *giggles*

Yes, I'll be heading to L.A. first. I've already got plans with two other people, but I'll see if I can fit you in.

His name's Randy...he's a records intern with the department, and he's a total sweetie. Trust me, you'll love him.

I do like him. Randy Bosch right? Well, I already had plans to see him, so if you want to tag along for that you're welcome.

Well you'll be out of Chicago for 2 weeks...I say a big "comfort food" feast and plenty of drinking. I ain't that big on flying, so the less of the actual flight I remember, the better. Topped off by probably the most aggressive we've ever done it since our second date.

That sounds... that sounds great actually. Mr. Marlon, I'm yours for the next two weeks.

Just remember I have to be alert, rested and refreshed for work when I get back.

Do you know when you're coming out this way? I mean, other than the weekend of Comic Con, I really don't have anything major planned so I should be around.

Comic what? Actually, pretend I didn't ask that. Well, I'm going to take the weekend to pack, and fly out Sunday night. I'm only going to stay a week though. My other week off goes to spending time with my daughter.

Well, it's in July anyway. I'll spare you the details of what it is then.

Oh so you're coming pretty soon! Well, I should be around. And that's totally understandable. It's great you'll get some time with your daughter too.

Yeah, sort of hasty planning and packing, but I'm getting out of dodge before they think up some reason they need me around. I'm looking forward to both.
