*softly* But it does my darling. It means you belong with us. Everyone's a bit of an outcast. I can't tell you how hard it was when my family disowned me. Even with your grandfather I felt so adrift. But what I learned was how to create my own place to belong with the family I choose.

I look around and I see all the others, big families, lots of siblings to fight with, play with. People who look out for you in way's that only family could.

I've got so few friends because of what my father was and even though I can like I don't care, I'm not my father so why should people not what to be around me?

Had your parents lived I am certain you would have just the same, but such is not the case and it is dangerous to lose sight of reality. Your parents loved you very dearly.

People often fear what they do not understand, Mister Lupin. I am reminded of your Godfather's second year at Hogwarts. He was avoided like the plague when people learned he could speak Parseltongue. It will pass in time, Teddy.
