Airshows always have the best food. Usually not the healthiest, but always the best.

Besides- who is paying attention to what they eat when there's planes and jets in the air?

And hot guys in flight suits. There's something about that Top Gun look...

[See Hal? He's grinning now because he's totally one of those hot guys in flight suits that is going to be there. Ferris Air had a new craft to show off and how in God's name he had gotten picked for it considering his record was beyond him. But he was doing it... barring anything happening in the mean time.]

The suits are impressive yes. I always thought women more liked the fact we pilots are skilled with our hands. It takes a very delicate touch to keep one of those birds flying high.

[Why yes. Yes he may just be flirting a little. Don't judge him to hard please.]

[At least Mia's legal! Ollie still might kill you though, Hal.]

Really now? I'll have to keep that in mind.

[What Ollie doesn't know won't hurt anyone. Least alone Hal in this case.]

Maybe I can take you up when the show comes around. Pretty sure I can get some air clearance after the show is over.

I'm Hal. Hal Jordan, one of the pilots from Ferris Aircraft.

[Oh to be a fly on the wall to see that. Extending his hand towards the woman Hal gave her an easy grin that came to him naturally. Hal always had a very open if not slightly cocky personality.]

Mia Dearden. From... uh, nowhere, really. You know Oliver Queen? [Damn it, why is shem mentioning Ollie? Stupid idea. She takes the hand with an equally cocky stance.]

I hear he's some rich guy up in Star City right? Owns Queen Enterprise or something? [Hal grinned one of those little sly grins.] Met him once, but I wouldn't outright say I know him.

He putting on the show or something?

I kinda work for him, is all. An assistant, you could say.

[An assistant? Huh. All Jordan could do was smirk a little, a brow quirking, as he studied her a little closer. Yeah he could see that.]

Exciting life then huh? I could just imagine pushing all that paperwork day in and day out.

Slings and arrows of the corperate world and all that. So very exciting.

This weekend, actually. I didn't... really pay attention when I was being told. I just know I got to be there Friday. [All Hal cared about was being able to fly. Everything had been quiet so far- no monsters showing up, no Sinestro to ruin a perfectly good jet. Nothing.]

Ferris is showing off a new toy that I get to play with this weekend. That was all I was really paying attention to.

[See Hal? Hal is just going to be grinning like a fool because he gets to play with a new toy from work this weekend.]

Oh no. Not up my alley at all. I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about.

[And Ollie is just going to smirk in response.]

So Ferris has a new jet they are going to be showing off at the show. Guess who they picked to fly her?

[Yep. If it was possible the man was grinning wider.]

Though I did have to swear not to pull any stunts with it...

[Oliver arches an eyebrow.]

Just a guess here, but...you're going to anyway, aren't you?

It's an air show. It's a requirement to give the crowd a thrill with all sorts of stunts and stuff.

[Of course Hal was going to pull some stunts. As much as Carol would yell at him for it after, all of it would be so worth it. Pushing the limits was what he did best and this? Yeah. This is was going to be sweet.]

Besides if Ferris Air is going to get more business... gotta show off what 'Lady' Ferris can come up with.

[If anyone knows and understands about pushing limits, it's Oliver. Two peas in a pod.]

Naturally. Well, I look forward to it.

[And people wonder why they were friends! Of course it made a little more sense than being friends with Barry... but still.]

Which also means beers after since no one is flying back to Coast till Monday.
