[pauses to glance up. oops. who are you?] You're not Harper.

( oh hey, it's that guy who makes her sister's life horrible! and gets drunk all the time! )

Nope. I'm her older sister.

(hey! he's only drunk half the time! the other half is reserved for sleeping! ... or something)

Oh hey, I'm Jace. Funny, Harper never said she had such a beautiful older sister. [this might have oozed charm if you know, his head wasn't still in your fridge]

Though the question still stands. Anything vaguely nacho-y in this place?

( just as charming as her sister said he'd be. as in, y'know, not at all. )

Does Harper know you're here?

[he straightens out, shutting the fridge door.]

Um, not exactly? Her boss, what's his face, said I should give her this. [dutifully gestures over to a manilla folder resting on the counter]

Is she in? And do you do the same publicist work too? I don't think I've seen you around the office before...

Oh, I see, you were looking for her in the fridge. ( /sarcaaasm )

She's getting groceries. And nope, I'm a paramedic.

[a bit amused] Well, she would probably be tiny enough to fit. And creative enough to try.

[leans back against counter, looking her up and down curiously] A paramedic? That's pretty impressive. How long have you been one?

( laughs. ) That's true. And it's a pretty good hiding place -- after all, who'd think to look in the fridge?

About four years.

[well, at least she laughed so that's always a plus.] And let me guess, you probably wouldn't have let me know she was there right? I bet she's told all sorts of horror stories about me. [he is not vain, per se, just curious. okay, and maybe a bit vain]

Yeah? That's pretty cool. I bet it's exciting, getting to go to accidents and help people. What got you into it? It's a pretty different profession than your sister's.
