Well, I was hoping for something a little more specific. [She quips back, hands on her hips and rolling her eyes. Of course he would have to be difficult now.]

[ He pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Lighting up the cigarette shows off his knuckles, they're torn up from a fist fight. ]

If it were a guy, I'd say yes.

Kitty approached him with a sad smile on her face, a damp wash cloth in one hand and some pain killers and a glass of water in the other.

"I'm sorry, Erik."

Looking up at her, he gives her a tiny smile.

"I know." he nods, holding his hand out for the pain killers and water.

She handed them over to him, gently resting the washcloth against one of the cuts.

"I didn't mean to hurt you so badly."

He takes her hand softly, removing it and leaning forward to kiss her.

"I know you didn't."
