Do you honestly expect that to work on me?

[Of course she used that tone. The one that hinted that a slap might be coming, if he doesn't shape up.]

[He's going to try to avoid this the best he can for now. The Doctor would feel terrible if he were to cause her any harm.]

[Oh, now that's just mean. He stands there for a moment before he wanders up to her. He's looking to simply poke her with a finger.]

Oi, I don't treat my best friends like that. I especially don't want my best friend's head -- oh right, nobody can die.

[He then goes to poke her.] You're head hasn't exploded somehow and that's a good thing.

[She grins and he's close enough to pull him into a hug so she does.]

[It's shocking to see Donna like this but he's happy to see her again. He returns the hug and there's a big smile on his face.]

I had no choice. I'm sorry, really I'm very sorry. It was a bad for me to do that but I couldn't stand the thought of you dying.
