[The first time the Hunter had been in France, she'd heard of the big, bad wolf, leader of a broken pack, but in all honesty, she hadn't pursued him. France was supposed to be her vacation: the local Hunters could do what they would with the loup-garou population.

[Nick was expecting a brute, which he was almost accustomed to while roaming for places to put his tiny family. Yet, he hadn't found a suitable place. Most of them were invaded with roves of hunters or rebellious pups he had no patience for - which was surprising in itself.]

And your reason for not? If you could include the reason why you bother to hunt down an old man now, too - please. That would be most helpful in the long run.
