Having been in love several times, having loved deeply and differently with each, having seen the one who holds my heart still in love with another and still know she loves me... yes, I believe it is.
I have three times. Twice were my brides, and I have loved them even beyond their deaths. The other is my great love, she who could have taken me apart and yet did not.
I did not doubt you meant literally. Yet you are letting him define who and what you are. That is your decision, certainly, but it seems a shame to let him win.
I'm not letting him win. It's just...I felt my life literally slipping away from me. It's...I've never felt anything like it, and I'm not looking to anytime soon. I just need to build up more trust in people. I may love again, but it certainly won't come as easily as it did before.
I suppose. I was lucky enough that when my first wife died, I was in love with another as well as her. Perhaps that made it easier to love my second wife, as well as carry on.

I have been friends with Death since I was a child. I have little fear for it now, nor in wasting what time I've been given.
