Obviously. Did she win anything? How was the food?

It was food. She got a something. It kind of went over my head; went on way longer than I thought it would.

But she looked great.

Anything with a gaggle of girls will last a while. Especially when they all get to reminiscing...like they don't think they're going to be back next year.

Oh. Do you still wanna go to the Yankees game? Since Bea's coming to Bellwood it'd be just you, me, Dev and Ken. I'm fairly concerned about leaving them, but since Bea SAW this Tyler guy in New York I'm not keen on bringing her back.

Yeah, man. Definitely. They'll be okay for the day. When's the game? I said I'd take Dev to the Pier for the 4th.

See, I tried to tell myself and then a nasty voice in the back of my head went: "Gwen was alone with Mike for less than an hour." Maybe I'll ask Grandma Verdona to keep an eye on them.

The tickets are for Sunday, the game starts late. But. We've got box seats. Over home-plate. My grandfather is the most awesome man ever.

Maybe they oughta keep an eye on Grandma...

Should I book a hotel or motel or something? Or do we plan on coming back to Bellwood after the game?

Yeah, I don't want to try and travel any more than I have to on a holiday weekend. We should swing a motel or a hostel or something.

Or we could see if they haven't pumped cement into my old place yet.

I'm all for that. It's livable (obviously) and there are no nightly rates.

And it's summer, so we won't freeze. We oughta bring sleeping bags, though.

I think we can do that.

And I'm pretty sure getting any kind of accomodations in New York on a holiday weekend will be like...impossible. Or a small fortune.

I'll bring more cash as a back up, though.

The warehouse: I'd bet on. Arcade: I dunno. Stuff goes out of business fast in New York. Rent is crazy.

Whatever. We'll have a good time. Eat hotdogs and nachos until we puke.
