Oh yes, I have told him this. He still insists on proposing, which, naturally, loses all the romance of the relationship.

My aunt does a fine job of attempting to "improve" me. I have no need for a wife to aid her in her efforts.

My aunt is married, and many of her friends, whom I am constantly forced to dine with, are married, and I have several friends who have entered the sad state of matrimony.

I had a conversation like this one with my sister the other day. One of those, when are you going to settle down and get married sort of exchanges.

I can't really picture myself married either.

Engaged, but she seems anxious to be wed and start a family.
