It depends upon a number of factors, really. How you are built, how large the baby is, whether or not you decide to take anything to help ease childbirth.
Yeah, this is totally my first. I'm like the size of a planet, could pee for America and eat like so much shit you wouldn't believe. I'm just totally worried about the pain.
I understand. I am getting ready to have another one again, soon. It will be my third. Are you going to have a natural childbirth or will you have an epidural?
Totally going for drugs, there's no way in hell I'm going to get something the size of a watermelon out of my vag without something like that. I've heard such horror stories, like skin being torn and people having to be cut and shit.
*soft laugh* I am an herbalist myself, and so I know about the older types of traditional things that ease the pain and can ease the process. As for tearing, etc. Yes, it can happen. But if you are properly prepped and such, and you have a good doctor or midwife that risk can be lessened.
Let me tell you something. It is a bit of unsolicited advice, so I will understand completely if you do not wish to hear it. But from my experience, giving up yor baby is the hardest thing that you can ever do. I gave up my daughter not because I did not want her or anything like that. It was to save her life...and mine. I gave her to be raised by a friend as his own daughter, and I knew I could see her at any time. But you cannot know how difficult even that has proven to be.
Love your son, cherish him. Nothing and no one in your life will ever be nearly so important to you as he will be. Trust me on this.
I feel him, it's like when he moves he's letting me know he's here. It's like "Mom, pay me attention or I'm going to kick the shit out of you from the inside." I wanted to go back to school and shit like that but Johnny's been helping me with money and shit and I'm being home schooled now.
*laugh* Well, it can be like that. If he is an agressive little one, perhaps he will be his mother's greatest defender. What an intense little knight you must be carrying. I think all young women would benefit from such an eduation. Certainly having one that is more hands on is far more beneficial than being preached at by a pedagogue.
Then you shall have him. Let naught stop you nor turn you aside, my dear.

OOC: Note, she's from medieval England, so things are a bit different.
