[ He's not an easy guy to budge, or even throw off. Not a step back or forward. He just blinks, quiet. To the passing observer, he might resemble more a stoned, hygenic teenager than anything remotely malicious. ]

( She lets out a small sigh of relief and flashes a shy, sheepish smile. ) I guess my short stature doesn't quite help much. But I do insist- it was most assuredly my fault for not paying attention.

( She tilts her head just slightly. He seemed rather different than others she'd met. She debates commenting about it, but doesn't because that would be rude. Instead, she simply lets it go without a second thought. ) I'll be going then. My apologies again.

However, [ And his eyes do come back round to hers. ] I would reconsider the attention paid to one's surroundings.

( She nods to the first bit, figuring he was done talking and she could leave, but she stops once he starts speaking again, meeting his eyes with her own blue ones. Blinking a few times, she flashes a small smile. ) I'll remember that, thank you.

( She pauses before taking a step to leave. ) Have a good night.
