Doesn't that basically defeat the purpose of getting what you want, though? If the result is always neutral what's the point of even wanting anything?

No. There are just moments, you know? Every so often a moment stops you, and it sort of has that bitter sting to it.

Or those moments that are so sweet and perfect and everything changes... and you know they won't last, can't last and it's fucked up because you cling to the sweet knowing you're going down eventually.
