Everything okay? [She shakes her head] Sorry, there I go again being nosy.

*Caitlin simply pauses for a few moments before saying,* Hmmm. Suppose now they are better... a little bit. I was jus' thinkin' though.

*She then frowns* How'd I end up here anyway?

[She looks around the carnival, her home with a smile]

You ended up here becasue you are meant to be here. Anyway, who doesn't enjoy a carnival on a sunny day?

Meant to be here? *She's not one that really believes in that sort of thing.* Hmmm. I suppose it is a nice day...

*Wandering around seems awfully tempting to her, she could use a little bit of fun anyway.*

(Rory didn't know why he was there. He didn't do well in large crowds or around people at all. Definitely not a social butterfly. The cheerful grin caught him off guard. He forced a little smile then spoke in an almost quiet tone.) Yeah, thanks.

[Amanda tilts her head, looking at the guy. She can't help being so cheerful. This is her home and the only place she's ever felt like she belonged, among people like her.] Something wrong?

...Sorry, you don't have to answer that.

What? No, I'm fine. (Just regretting his decision to be there but he wasn't going to tell her that. It might bring down her cheerful mood.)

[Oh not much does that so don't worry. She knows he's not, noticing his aprehension.]

You know you have nothing at all to be worried about. We're like a family here. It's the only place where I feel like I belong.

She was completely overwhelmed by the spectacle, needless to say her senses were on overdrive. She'd never been one for really big crowds but there was something about this place that really seemed to draw her in. At the welcome she forced as big a smile as she could manage- which for her wasn't very big.

"Uh.. I.. Thank you."

You're very welcome. I'm Amanda, it's nice to meet you.

[She tilts her head to the side with a small smile] Is everything okay?

"I'm.. Linda." she smiled a little easier this time.

"Uh.. Yeah I'm just.. Not used to being around a lot of people, this is kind of strange to me." she shifted her weight awkwardly. She'd wanted a change of pace, to at least get out and try to find somewhere she could lead a somewhat normal life. "How long has this place been here?"

[She nods] Well, welcome again Linda! It's always exciting to have new people around here.

[She tilts her head to the side] You have no need to worry, we're all family here. Not very long...we move around quite a bit. We don't stay in one place for long.
