Politics. Hardly ever a gentleman's affair.

Yet the only way to play the game is to put on the face of a gentleman, or lady, and hide the bloodthirsty nature beneath manners and pretend.

Sharp words cut deep, especially when they come from a beautiful woman. Would you prefer the simple and prattling that might fawn? Don't find that becomes tiresome?

What would be the adequate word then? Knowing a person is above others doesn't make someone a snob, no matter what others think.

Born into it without a choice, actually. I'm just learning to be good at it. Yourself?

Trying to be amusing? It might be working.

It's overrated. People say they want it, until they have it, then all they want is the pretty lies that make their existence tolerable.

America. You poor thing. I admit, my French is entirely faulty though I don't know enough of their lands to know which lands you mean by poisoned. The pleasure is mine, your majesty. Prince Jack of Gilboa.

Of course that is if you're talking honesty with those that know you and those that know the title and crown. At least as I've found. I prefer those with their assumptions about the crown much more than those that know me personally.

I'm not concerned, nor humbled by your mock pity.

You're better off for it. Would you rather it otherwise?
