Same here, actually. I used to try figuring things out when I was a kid about my family and all of that. *She chuckles softly.* Not that it did anything.

Now...I'm not so sure what it means.

well it does, mean that. But I guess I've realised that roots aren't just where you come from, they're where you decide to stay.

Where you decide to stay? Hmm. That does make a lot of sense. But, I'm in a situation where I need to make up my mind and soon right now about where I'm going to live. It's very hard.
Go home where there's nothing or stay where there's nothing.

Were you in that kind of situation?

Not everyone's origins tie them down, though.

That's not a problem. Might've been nice to have something to hold on to.
