(no subject)

[Walking through the nightly city. Alone.]

[There might be a figure on the rooftops; Repunzel likes high places.]

[Repunzel is pretty new to the city; still exploring it. It's not so different than her forests, in some ways, but... it scares her.

The little girl has caught her interest, though.]

[Repunzel was scared; but she wasn't going to let that stop her.

Tying her hair to whatever was handy, she lowered herself off the higher buildings.]

[No need to fear Repunzel! It's just a random woman.

Climbing down a building on a rope of her own hair.]

[Greg can't sleep, and can't stop thinking about his little girl. Seeing her across the busy intersection is almost more than he can handle. Sitting up as quick as he can, he grabs his stuff, looks both ways, and then crosses the street, cars honking at him from both directions.

As he gets closer, it's easy to see his health has deteriorated again, Greg's skin shimmering with sweat despite the frosty night air.]

Hey, what are you doing out so late, little one?

You have a very good point there, sweetheart.

[His smile has been sad since the day he saw her bracelet, Greg having never once let on what he suspected about the little girl he'd befriended. Still, he was comforted by the fact that she had come back, and if this was the most he ever got to see of his daughter, so be it.]

Yes, that is definitely true. But I haven't met a lot of them. You've been lucky.

[He falls in step with her, figuring the least he can do is keep her out of the trouble spots for the night.]
