My apologies. We looked around but there didn't seem to be anyone in. [Still not turning around.] There's something wrong with our truck.

I sensed a magical presence here so I recommended we stop. You're...fae?

[He says this uncertainly as his fingers still trace the tool he was inspecting before.]

[She's watching him, scenting something definitely not-human and wondering exactly what flavor it is]

I am. And you are...?

[She watches him touching everything, hands almost drawn to objects and she wonders if he's not part fae himself]

Uh...intrigued that [He turns around, face visible beyond the collar of the coat.] you're so tall. I was under the impression that your species are commonly much smaller. [Scoffs] Sorry. That was rude. I didn't mean to avoid your question.

No one's quite sure. [Abe shrugs] But Abraham will work. [He smiles as best he can contort his face.]

[She lets her eyes flick over his face, trying to figure out exactly what type of 'other' he is]

[Smiling at the comment, she shrugs] I'm only half pixie. Those are the tiny ones. I can change sizes, though. Other half's sidhe... um, elf, for lack of a better word. There seems to be all manner of nicknames for every type of otherkin.

Abraham, hmm? Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Jinx. [Tipping her head in curiosity of her own, she asks] Exactly what kind of mechanical help were you looking for, Abraham?

[Narrowing her eyes at him, she suddenly pounces across the couch] Brat! Mine!

*He is expecting that, but when it happens, it still manages to catch him off guard and he nearly falls off the couch but manages to hold the remote at arms' length away from her* Nooooooooooooooo, mine! Mine now!
