Lets at least get you started. I can help that much anyway. [And grabbing notebook for her from the shelf, some pens, and one of his grandmother's herb books.]

Well, I don't know if I'll be any good at learning it so it'll be an adventure for the both of us, then.

[She pulls her legs up under her and writes the letters in a somewhat awkward hand, saying the name of each one as she does.]

[He leans over to watch, and then reaches over, adjusting one of her fingers so the pen sits a little easier in her hand, watches for anything else he can maybe correct, aside from the general awkwardness of someone unused to writing this]
