Thinking of how barbaric the Nine Realms are, or rather how one realm dominates the others?

I don't care for war, it makes things so busy. The Aesir are inevitably involved in the fight but most of their dead are sent to Valhalla so that alleviates the pressure somewhat.

In the sense that they are far more likely to reap the splendor than the loss and bloodshed, yes.

They have something to strive for, when they grow up? It's one way of living, anyway...certainly it's not for everyone. Even I know that, eager fighter that I am.
