Actually, I was wondering if you might like to come over? My kitchen isn't the biggest, but I can certainly manage a turkey breast and some side dishes.

I um -- I'm visiting my mom? [Which he doesn't look entirely thrilled about] Thanksgiving is about family, so.

It's good for you to see her, but if you wanna stay local, there's room at my place. [ He pauses. ] I'll be doing all the cooking. [ Giving the team that cooking lesson had been important for all of them, but he generally prefers to cook alone. ]
