"Oh, don't pull that temporal grace trick, the Doctor already tried that once-" River squeezed the trigger, expecting to fire a shot at his screwdriver, but surprise surprise - nothing happened. "...Damnit!"
She frowned, tucking her gun back into its holster. "Wipe that smirk of your face, please. You made your point."
He's grinning like it's Christmas as he leans on the railing. "Oh, I do love a good reunion. Not the same without grandma asleep in the corner, but I can live with it. Oh, if only your Doctor were here to see this."
He shoves off with a bit of a spin, his arms flung out, and then he takes the steps two at a time, jumping down the last three. "Oh, Nyssa. You wound me."
He pressed one hand to his chest, and the other went out to casually flick at her curls.
"I have plans. Most of which-" he took a step back. "-revolve around you, now."
He doesn't seem particularly bothered by the flinch. He whirls around, striding back to his desk. He braces himself against it with his thighs and the back of his hands.
"That's for me to worry about, you adorable little busy-body." He curls his lips in the most googoo face he can manage. "I'm just about to send the boys to Tescos. Won't be needing anything, will you? Milk? Tampons? Aloe Vera for the burn?"
[He spun around in his chair, leaving his back to her, disappearing behind the high black rim, except for one hand, that came up to wiggle his fingers.]
And ever so nice see you. Tell me... how did you get passed the guards?
Oh, but he'd win this little tango, Rose. Considering the six guns pointed at her back. "Mmm. Hard to keep up with them, hopping between realities, isn't it, my traveling little flower? Oh, and so close."
He gave her a pathetic, pitying little pout as he steepled his fingers together. "Two floors down, and you might've had the most touching reunion. I'm afraid we're going to have to wait on that, though. I've got something much more interesting in mind."
Guns, schmuns. She's just traveled across realities on her lonesome, and to the proper one no less. She's feeling pretty triumphant and confident, even if she landed on the wrong floor.
It doesn't matter this crazy happens to be more established than most, he's still just a crazy they'll stop. "More than a photo-op?"

He glanced around, but the observation deck was empty save for the pair of them and a set of guards in the corner.
Guards that wouldn't be alive any more in a minute.

"My mummy? I..I don't know..."She looked around and frowned lightly.
"I think I came here by myself. It's pwetty up here."

"What sort of plans?" Oh, she doesn't like the sound of this. Her blue eyes dart around, looking for a way out, a way to get away from him.

Madam President. My captain and commander. But where are your subjects? Your esteemed council?

He took them. All of them, turned them against me, and he did it so easily. Not fit to rule they said, not like he apparently is.
[Not that she was confiding in the Master of all people]

[She's tightening her grip on her wand, just a bit. It's still at her side.]

[A few well-placed memory charms, an invisibility cloak, and a very, very carefully calibrated Portkey.]
