[She leaves her friends for a moment to go get another drink, leaning against the bar trying to get the attention of the bartender. She doesn't notice Arthur.]
[ Arthur spotted Ariadne a few minutes ago, but he opted not to disturb her while she seemed to be enjoying the night. He turns as she comes over, though, clears his throat with his mouth curling up at one corner. ]
[She glanced over at whoever is clearing their throat, expecting it to be some creepy guy trying to hit on her or something. Instead her eyes go wide in surprise and she smiles.]
[ Arthur looks amused, seemingly laughing without a sound, speaking as calm and collected as ever. ] Ariadne. If I didn't know any better I'd think you were stalking me.
[ Arthur smirks in way that could either confirm or deny this to be the truth. ] Whichever way around, it's good to see you. You doing okay for yourself?
[ The hug is unexpected, but not unwelcome, and he loosely wraps his arms around her, pats her gently on the back before it comes to an end. ]
That's great, I'm happy to hear you're doing well. [ He spares a glance over at her friends, smiles as he turns back. ] Rowdy group, I hope you're not getting into any trouble.
[ He shrugs casually. ] Passing through, mostly, keeping an eye open for jobs.
Me? Get into trouble? [She smirks. Although, truth be told, she's usually the mom on these outings
Her ears perk up at the sound of a job. She's been itching to build again. Professor Miles even lets her go under occasionally under his watch. Probably because he's worried if he doesn't she'll do something rash, like run off to do it full-time and not finish her degree.]
Is that a challenge? [ He shifts subtly on the stool, slowly angling himself her way, expression leaning closer to pleased than neutral. ] I thought it was time to let my hair down. [ Suspiciously, and with a hint of jealousy. ] Are you meeting someone?

[She gives him a hug, because that's what she does when she sees someone she considers a friend.]
I am. About to finish up my degree actually. It's kind of why we're out celebrating. [She nods in the general direction of her friends.]
How've you been? And more importantly, what are you doing in Paris?

He rolls his eyes, but looks far from irritated. ] If the season change picks a fight with me I'll just shoot it down.

[ Still, she smiles over at him, blonde hair coming untucked from her braid and framing her face. ] What's got you down here then?
