[Sophie isn't the most impressive messenger ever, but she the one Sade sent. Sophie does, however, understand etiquette. Once she's shown into Ceiro's presence, she bows with the deference due a king.]
Majesty, I have a message (http://sixwordstories.livejournal.com/66325575.html?thread=1960795975#t1960795975) here from Lady Sade. [She waits for permission to deliver the paper.]
Mm? [He blinks, finishing with the tie then he turns to look at her. Reaches for the message, though, and reads it before he says anything.]
Mm. I do not believe anyone else will be attending me at the Green. This should not...be an issue.
[But it does make his troubles increase. He rather blames everyone else's worries for all of this. Setting the note aside, he brushes his hands over his suit before moving around to sit at his desk.]
My lord, that's a difficult question to answer. It's only a possibility, after all.
[She ducks her head.] I did find a damaged document that pertains to orphans and adoptions in the Diamond archives. I've been brought a journal to salvage from a Spade family and asked to interpret engravings on a sword. I suspect many of these items have nothing to do with the matter at hand. People are hunting for information and so these things turn up.
[By the time Tegan is shown into Ceiro's study, he is sitting behind his desk. A cup of coffee is sitting just to the side, untouched as he seems intent on some papers in front of him.
When he finally looks up, he looks a bit surprised to see her. But he does stand, and offers her a warm smile.]
Forgive me, please...come in. Sit.
[He waits for her to move into the room more before going on.]

Do you think I look...appropriately regal?

You can set it there, no need to hold it. Have you had a chance to walk the grounds, this morning?
