[ It's only a small fire. ]

[She narrows her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.] You started it, you finish it, John.

[ It's not really about putting out the fire. The face is from the fact he is utterly convinced nearly no one else in this school receives that tone of voice as often or as sincerely. Bobby leaves broken ice in the corridors like a menace, it's shits and giggles. John lights a toilet roll, he's a miniature homeland terrorist or something.

[She shakes her head and wipes at her eyes. She shouldn't even be up right now, it's way too late-- early in the morning, and she has classes. But getting a full-night's sleep around here seems to be a luxury.] It's nothing, Ms. Munroe. It's fine. I can go back to my room, if you need me too.

[She tilts her head slightly, a look of concern etching across her features.] No, Rogue-- what's wrong?

I just couldn't sleep. That's all, really nothing to be worried about. I appreciate the concern though.

If you sure that's it.

[She smiles slightly.] Come on; why don't you join me for a coffee or tea in the kitchen.

Oh, yeah, I'm sure. [She really just hates burdening others with her problems.]

Really? Sure, that'd be great. Tea sounds perfect. What are you doing up, anyway, if I can ask?

Preparing for my day. [She continues to smile as she leads Rogue down to the kitchen.] It's always been a point of mine to rise just before the sun does.

Huh. Interesting. Not me, I like to get as much sleep as I can. But that's part of the whole teenager thing, right? [As they near the kitchen she wipes at her eyes again, hoping to get rid of anything that may have made it look like she was upset before.]

[A chuckle escapes past her lips.] Don't wish away being a teenager so quickly.

Oh, I wasn't planning on it. I don't have that much longer as a teenager anyway, so I may as well enjoy it, right?

[Daken could go with several answers here. He'll go with the most nonspecific.]

[Ignore the various clawmarks across the wall that coincidentally match his own. Those were there before, he swears.]
