Not even close. I just thought I'd give you your gift now. [If Aiden had his way Tony wouldn't have seen his present just yet, but no. The kitten seemed to have other plans when it climbed up his back and onto his shoulder] Surprise?
Good to know... I did build it by hand for you. [But his eyes were instantly on the little furry head popping up over Aiden's shoulder. Staring at it a moment he had to let that concept of a kitten sink in... Clearing his throat, he moved closer and offered his finger tips to it... watching a littler awed as it rubbed into his fingers.] Is... it yours?
Even more fuel to make my friends jealous. I approve. [He scratches his neck, trying his best to not give the kitten any reason to digs it's claws into him again] Well, technically I guess you could say he's mine also... But merry Christmas!
You like making people jealous, I see. [At the confirmation that the kitten was 'his' he dared to reach out and pick the kitten up. He looked awkward as it curled up in his hands. Watching the ball of fur quietly, he looked up at his lover and smiled softly.] Merry Christmas, Aiden....
It can be kind of amusing at times. [Aiden lets out a breath that he didn't even realize he was holding when Tony takes the kitten. In his defense the man was impossible to buy for, and since he had no animals around the logical decision was to get him one obviously] Does this mean you approve?
Really? [He slips behind Tony, one hand wrapping around his waist and the other moving to pet the little fur ball] It's a he, and I'm thinking you should come up with a name before he gets used to being called it.
Really. [Smoothing his fingers through the fur, he only stopped when Aiden's arm went around him and the younger moved to pet the kitten. Lowering his hand down to rest on top of the arm about his waist, he stared at the black and white pile of fur and deliberated on naming it.] You realize... if I name him it will be something like Archimedes or Einstein, right?
I'm not about to go naming your cat for you. [And he was actually looking forward to seeing what ridiculous name he came up with] Hmm... [He scratches the kitten behind it's ear] Are you an Archimedes?
I like Archimedes. [Smirking a little at the cat, he quoted lightly.] Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world... [Turning his head to look back at Aiden, his smile was almost Cheshire in quality and mischief.] Next you'll be asking for kids.
