[She smiles, reaching over to gently pat Lyssa's shoulder. Her brows furrow and she gets a worried look in her eyes.] What's wrong, sweetie?

I got a dog. [hey, it's half the truth] Owen's worried about his shoes.

Ah, it's a puppy then. That doesn't surprise me. He is a bit of a designer whore. I wouldn't want a puppy eating my Jimmy Choo's either.

George won't eat shoes. I'll make sure of it, just like I made sure Ringo never did. Except that one pair. But they needed destroying, Owen had the damn things way past the point they should have been thrown away.

He's a man. He isn't fond of shopping. He will keep anything until it's long past its due. You know this. Personally, I'd teach George to chew them.

Well he's going to have to put up with shopping more soon.

Oh? What would change that? Very little makes him shop.

He needs to redecorate a couple of the rooms in the house.

[Jack pokes his head in with a slice of pizza in his hand.]

Nothing... much... really. Me and Owen got a dog, puppy really, missed the one we had before we turned up here. Called him George, our other puppy was Ringo, figured should go with a theme. Got Ringo just before I found out I was having Rain, same happened this time.

[she's grinning]

You lost your dog so you decided to get a new one? [Jack takes a bite of the pizza and he listens to Lyssa. He cracks a smile at the name of the dog.] Liz might argue the dog's name should be named Sir Paul.

Are you trying to hide something from me?

[He's talking with his mouth full because Jack has no manners.]

We didn't lose Ringo, he's still in the universe me and Owen came from. I wish he had come with us. We considered Paul or John, but I think George works. Can always call the next one Paul.

[As if Lyssa would notice or care if Jack's talking with his mouth full, she lives with Owen and has very few manners herself.]

Trying to hide... no, just suck a telling people news without just blurting it out. When I told Owen, he just said cool. I was expecting a little more than cool when I told him. Still, better than what happened with Rain, I got my Jack to tell him. I was so worried about how he'd react.

I'm sure with some work we can get you your dog back. Its not exactly hard to cross realities these days.

[He sounds a little frustrated with the entire concept right now. Still he goes to eat his pizza, it was one of the frozen kind and he can at least make those.]

What about the puppy? [Jack seems to be a bit confused by the entire thing and he takes another bite of his 'burnt' frozen pizza.] So what are you trying to tell me Lyssa. Oh... [He swallows his pizza.] Do I have to put contraceptives in the water?

I'd love to have him back. Even Owen admitted he missed the little guy. If there is some way then certainly consider it.

[she nodded when he realised what she'd been rambling on about]

No, goodness no bloody need for that. Took long enough this time. Not that I'm saying I want more... I'm rambling aren't I. Just don't try and stick me behind a desk.

Just give me sometime and I can see about finding Ringo. He's on Earth right?

[He just listens and he stops with the pizza when he finds the last bits are still frozen solid. He sighs and he goes to toss the remains into a waste bin.

We still have the desk policy for those who are expecting. You'll get to see me a lot more. That or you can help Ianto with his cafe.

Yeah, he's on Earth, Cardiff I think. Don't know if that makes it easier.

[Better than Lyssa's attempts at cooking, most are charcoal. Except brownies, she's damn good at making them.]

Well that can be when I can't see my toes easily. No way can I spend four months sitting at a desk even with you as company. No offence. I'd drive everyone mad.

[They're very lucky that Jack didn't burn the HUB down this time or set the kitchen on fire.]

If things are as peaceful as they've been? Perhaps, we can let things go for now but the moment things become too much you're going to be on your feet. Yes, but there's something else you need to worry about Lyssa.

[Jack hates this argument and he had to deal with both Alisa and Liz when they were expecting. He takes a deep breath of air and he huffs a little bit.]

Liz wasn't just another human and neither was Alisa. Its what's best for both of you in the end. I don't want to be responsible if anything happens to the two of you.

[He goes to rub the area between the bridge of his nose.] I'm going to need to hire more staff..
