"I... yeah. I was with a couple people but they..." The sentence doesn't need finishing. It was obvious what had happened. "I'm Charli. Its, uh, nice to meet you."
There's a bit of an awkward silence, it's not like there's much to say about that nowadays. Robin had lost her mum too, she knew that words didn't fix much.
"It's nice to meet you too." She looked back over her shoulder. "I'm with my Dad and this group of people. It's kinda big, all things considered."
"I was beginning to think there was no one left." Which sounded a little vain, given she was implying she was the only survivor. "Its good to know there's others."
"I thought the same thing! Like, my Dad and I were on the road for ages, but all cars were abandoned or..." She finally offered a true smile. "Yeah, it's definitely good."
It made her believe, for a moment, that things were getting better.
"Come." She cocked her head in direction to camp. "We've got sort of like, a shower. And food."
"Well, it's not like, the Hilton's or anything." She chuckles. "But this guy put up like, this camping sort of shower, using like plastic bags and bottles. It's pretty impressive."
"A shower?" Yup, she's sold. A shower, regardless of whether it was one in a fancy hotel or not, was never an unwelcome thing. She smiles. "That'd be really nice." That and the people.
"It totally is." Considering she didn't have many things to do at camp, since her Dad and some of the women did most of the washing and Tommy seemed pretty busy hanging with the boys, she'd had many chances to just slack off and take a swim now and then.
"You should come, the water is amazing. And there's like, fish and stuff."

"Sorry. Can't be too sure these days, you know?"

Using a hand to shied her eyes from the sun, she squints as she looks at her, from head to toe. "So, you're like, by yourself? I'm Robin, by the way."

Surprise crosses her face then, at the offer and she ducks her head, still smiling. "Really?"
