Don't get me wrong. Girl. Loves the diamonds. But you know what really says "Sorry I almost had you killed on your birthday"? Leaving town and not threatening the people I care about anymore. You could do that too.

Seventeen is good. You can drive, but you don't have to do adult paperwork. I don't see why people don't like their ages. It's just a number.

That's true. Taxes and stuff must suck.

I guess it's because they're looking at their life like a clock that's counting down. The higher the age the fewer the hours they have left. I can see how that'd be a bummer.

But when you're older you get to do more things, and people respect you. They'll take you seriously. So it may be a little sad, but it's good, too.

Give yourself a century before you begin to worry about wisdom

Isn't it better to get wiser sooner? Ugh. I don't think I can think in centuries yet. Right now it's all about getting through this day.

You'll soon learn that a century isn't very long at all.
Just enjoy the moment. Once you get entangled in our politics the time for fun passes.
