Unique? I think this outfit looks just fine. Okay, so Peri wasn't exactly thrilled with it but still there's nothing wrong with being dazzling.

The coat is a one of a kind! And, no it has nothing to do with the 1980's on Earth being about everything being loud and excessive.

I'm pretty sure there's a middle ground between your coat and funereal. I mean, taking one of the colors or patterns used in your coat and using it for the whole thing would work nicely.
