Ah, but one will be arguing the value of a song is greater still than the weight of gold.

Not so. Now you know me. And I'll absolutely make the argument.

If you wish to know the coin of my purse, you can't help not not wanting to know of me, I should think.

First with clarification, I would imagine. I've been led to believe you've the skills and predilection to inquire after the affairs of those most of us call 'dead,' Mistress?

...you'll forgive a bard his attention to the play of words, but songs rather do fill mouths. In more than one way.

No work of quality ever does. I was wondering how one would go about enlisting your assistance with something, Miss Aun Afae?

[Hi Aun! Guess who was directed here by a mutual friend (http://sixwordstories.livejournal.com/68513652.html?thread=2029883252#t2029883252)?]

Clearly, tales of your work have preceded you! As a man bereft of contacts and in need of a necromancer, familiarizing myself with your reputation has been quite essential for me, as I'm sure you can imagine.

There is an old acquaintance of mine who passed away some years ago, We were not on the best of terms when he died, and I would like very much to see him once again. Of course, I intend to meet any terms and conditions which you may have?

I would like to believe that the closure which this encounter could give the other party would outweigh the discomfort of being restored from the dead, so yes, retaining their intelligence would be preferable.

What ingredients do you require?

Oh, he was quite powerful in life, and not entirely human, if that makes a difference?

This doesn't make it too challenging for you, does it?

I'm pleased to hear that. I'll confess I would have been quite surprised to find that a practitioner of your calibur was deterred by my requirements.

I have a resource which should provide the gems you require. Shall I take you to the grave site now? Or do you require time to prepare?

Oh, he is too long dead for any cleric in good conscience to restore.

[Saying this, he reaches out to touch her shoulder, and if she'll not resist, teleport both of them to the grave site. It's a rocky beach, with the flat stones of the floor leading up to the edge of a steep cliff face which rises perhaps twenty feet up to a plateau above them.]
