Apartment hunting. It's getting rather tedious.

Oh god, I hate looking for apartments. Looking for roommates is even worse.

I started off as excited but then I realized I have like, no money. Sigh.

I'm looking for slightly less low end than I have. Less...slum.

Seriously, I hate spending money but my current place is awful and I can't stand it anymore.

Um, are you in a slum right now, or something like that? My apartment building kind of sucks, but it's not like I'm afraid of getting mugged every time I step outside.

It sort of is? Two people have been mugged over the last month and there's been a rash of car break ins, and about four months ago, my apartment was broken into. And the landlord wanted me to wait three days before he replaced my doors and windows, because the handyman was busy. And there's graffiti all over the place and...some things just get corrosive, you know?

Oh, I'm much less broke than I used to be. I got a new job! And one of my old ones increased the hours!

It's less work overall, and it means I can afford to move out of my current apartment, which is....really impressively awful, to say the least. And it is good to do work, even if it isn't the work for which I went to school.

Yup! I'm looking for a place that'll let me paint. I'm sure I'll find one, especially since I'm willing to sign a contract that says I'll return it all to white when I'm done.
