How do you tolerate the lights, constantly gleaming in their seemingly endless luminosity? There are so many!

Well, I am not that used to them myself, though I have had a year or so of experience with them. To relieve the distraction, I take breaks in my own chambers, which are candlelit.

I, too, have a few candles I keep nearby. They are a small comfort. One is called "Dragon's Blood", though I dare not ask why.

I dearly hope that is not literal. I've a friend who is a dragon. She's quite congenial.

There is a device known as a "dimmer switch" which can apparently be installed in electric lighting, which I am investigating.
