[ Which was all knocked on to the floor when the trickster decided to lay first first down on the sofa about 10 minutes before. Loki was in a bad enough state that he didn't care how bad his hair looked, and his shirt was only half buttoned up.]

...Lies...We will always be in this state when Thor takes to drink.

[Jane is a mess too. Her whole apartment is a mess.]

No. I will say no and wish him a good time and hide out in the library.

[ they would have their work cut out for them to clean the place back up.]

Good luck with that, many of the times I had tried that he has quite latterly threw me over his shoulder and carried me like a child to the bar. He hates to drink alone.

[Jane is used to that. She grabs some aspirin for them.]

He wouldn't dare do that to me. I'd protest.

[ Loki finally looked to the side as she was getting the asprin, his pretty green eyes all blood shot and dark rings around them as he moved a hand out but spoke no words. His head pounding or not he had promised to get something done before he had walked to the room. The table was rebuilding itself suddenly as Loki moved his hand to pull the cushions over his head.]

You are a woman after all, he must be more gentle with you.

[Aw, the poor thing. Instead of water, she gets him some juice so he doesn't have a horrible taste in his mouth.]

[ He pushed up to sit himself up taking the pills and drink. Normally he would question it but if she said ti would help by Odin's eye it would be taken. And was, the juice he seemed to not make a sour face at and just sat back.]

T'was nothing, everything has strings of light to it. It's just a matter of reconnecting them.

[She swallows her pills and collapse into an armchair. They'd kick in soon.]

[ The sorceror would have made them close if they were not. He was trying to will his body to do as it should and fix itself. Listening to her words he looked to her.] Not exactly then, maybe when I'm better on my words I can explain it but you're still thinking purely science. I speak of magic.

Something close, I wish to find a small place here on Midgard to call my own and make sure I have the means to work my spells. I did promise you I would show you how to work these things I need to gather what I will need.

[Yes, she had been paying attention to his lessons and trying to study accordingly, but earth had weird ideas about magic. She nods as he speaks, closing her eyes for a moment. Ugh, beer.]

I'll do a little searching. This is New York, there's all sorts of things here.

Had I anything to work with I could make up a potion to cure this pain right away.

[SO long at Thor's side Loki had learned some very good hangover cures.]

[ The pillow was pulled back over his head then laying back on the couch, god the painkillers only numbed it a little.]

[She's reclined back and is rubbing her temple with one hand. Her mother used to be good at rubbing away headaches.]

Summer Project Number One: Trailer.

[ Loki allowed himself to lay there another moment before a strange shift in the air happened, he walked right past Jane on the chair, yet he was still laying on the couch. The second Loki went right to the coffee pot to set about making the coffee. He really abused his powers sometimes but neither really would want to do it.]

Wont be necessarily, we use basically the same things her magic just does not run as deep as my own, I only intend to keep the basics I wish not to turn you apartment into a chamber for keeping up with my belongings...

On that note, maybe I should look into acquiring residence. I am sure you will grow tired of me after awhile. [ He murmured through the pillow.]

[Jane watched the other Loki make coffee and took in a deep breath as it started to brew. Oh, was it a miracle drink.]

Oh, believe me, I won't mind. It's just a cupboard. Besides, I heard that's what family did. Invade each other's spaces.

But getting an apartment, or house, would be a great idea! Then we could visit you.

[ Sometimes Loki was utterly thankful for his ability to make duplicates of himself to do his bidding it make a lot of things from warfare to sleeping through banquets so much easier. He totally has used a clone to skip out on a speech or two of Odins.]

Not in my family, thats just Thor...Okay Maybe I'm the strange one I don't like people near my things, but as it will be a simple cabinate....[ Despite the pain Loki sat up fast an idea hitting him.] Fetch me a map of Midgard Jane.

[ Forget the headache and his train of thought before he had an idea for where he could get what he needed.]

Maybe something in the area even. [ Oh look Cloney brought over the Coffee milk and cups for them. Loki would vanish the clone soon enough he wanted that addicting drink first.]

[Making a 'bleh' sound, Jane took the coffee cup from the clone as she got up and drank it while she pulled out one of the many maps she had of the city. It was such a change from what she was used to, but she had lived in large cities before.]

I'll get a lock for the cabinet. No one will bother it, promise.

[And now, deposited in his lap, would be a huge map of New York City.]

[ Loki had to make his coffee in such a way that he could truly enjoy the taste pain aside he was a bit of a prima-donna. As he took the map from her he looked at it a moment before looking at her like she had clearly misunderstood.] I said if Midgard not of just this city, I need to figure out where something is as to how the world looked a last I came down before recent days. About a few centuries?

And a lock might be a most welcomed thing.

[She gulps down some more of her coffee and brings a book this time. Thank you, Darcy, for forgetting one of your books for political science. This one is a bit of an Atlas, with all sorts of maps from all different time periods. Human movement, cities long gone, battles...]

[ Loki was finally taking a drink of his coffee when she brought the book moving a hand about to the side since his clone seemed to be gone a large looking book and a pen appeared beside him as he took the book from Jane opening it, Ohhh yes this was one he could find useful. He started flipping pages at first to see what he could find just by skimming.]

Codes, they annoy Thor. [ Which was always fun.]

He's actually gotten better at them. I've introduced him to cross word puzzles.

[Oh coffee, the wonderfulness that you are... She's feeling better already now that she has some caffeine in her. Loki (or his clone) really does make a good pot.]

I normally came down in the northlands but this is another side of Midgard here.

[Oh, you prima donna, just admit that you like making things difficult for others. Jane will just give him other puzzles.]

Ironwoods? I think you mentioned them once... Maybe it's part of the taiga, the huge forest that covers a lot of the far north.

[ It comes with the title of god of mischief. And he couldn't help it he liked to be classy. Which when that coffee helps perk him up more he will be sure to fix his awesome hung over look and messy hair. It wouldn't do but showed he was comfortable around her at least.]

Show me where that would be. [ He moved over on the couch a little so she could come sit beside him and look through the book.] It is a place I am sure I am most unwanted these days, the home of the mother of most of my childern, Angrboða.

[Jane always needed a good cup of coffee too, but she didn't care about her hair and that unless she had guests or needed to go somewhere public. Loki didn't count; he was family.]

[She takes the book, and using the index pages, shows him a modern map of Norway and Sweden, pointing to the top parts marked in green with titles. She guesses that if Loki is looking for her, then she is still alive and something like him. Immortal at least.]

These places would overlap with those old forests, and they're national parks. You can't cut down trees, build houses, or anything there. If she was clever, she would live there.

[ Which is why she was allowed to see him in such a state as well. She was far from someone he must impress she was part of the family be their vows between her and Thor or not. She would be his sister some day.]

Before I say anything I am trusting you to not say a word of this to Thor or Sigyn, Angrboða is no threat to my marriage but I'm sure neither would approve of what I have planned. I will depart and return in a few days once I am sure of this. If asked you have no idea where I have gone. [ He spoke as he looked over it moving over to the book he had conjured opening a page to a hand drawn old looking map of the Ironwoods.]

She was very cleaver. We must find out if there are myths of large wolves. It was kind of her thing. [ He spoke as he compared his map to the one in the book.]

[Jane was suspecting soon. He and Erik had been hanging out a lot, more so than usual, and Thor always seemed to have a question for him that they would have to go to another room for. And Darcy kept snickering. That always let her knew something was up.]

I won't breathe a word or mention anything. I swear.

[This was how much she trusted him. He had his reasons for going, and she wouldn't press. She would just do what she could, believing in him when he said he wouldn't be hurting Sigyn by this.]

But if wolves are a sign, she'll then be here—in this park. That's the only place where wolves are in these countries. They've been hunted away otherwise.

[ Well At least Thor was going to propose opposed to it being arranged. It was much more romantic that way. It was going to be cute when it happens and younger brother expected to be told about it.]

Good becuase if you do you know perfectly well what I am capable of, but it would be faster and easier for me to go gather the items needed from her at least then I know they would not be cheapened and would be grown as they need to be. You will be having a very magical cabinet.

[ Nodding as he looked at it, He trusted her that was why he asked her help. He knew she would not betray him hell he hadn't really needed to threaten her.] Then that is where she will be. I need to depart soon enough, When I return we will work on placing charms about this place to protect you when no one is about.

[He would be the first to know. She would have to call her father and ask if Erik had been calling him... or... Well, she might have to see if he planned on coming down. He'd want to be introduced at least.]

Magical. I'll be sure not to mess with it then!

[She might know a lot about magic through his tutoring, but she knew not to mess with stuff she didn't know about. Minus computer things. The threat went right over her head; he knew he was just doing that out of former habit.]

I wish you a lot of luck, with whatever you're going to do. Oh, charm work? I've been reading up on those.

[ That would be interesting introducing her father to the God of Thunder, Goddess of Consistency and the God of Mischief as her future in-laws. God Loki was going to have fun that day.]

Actually some of it will be to help expand in your lessons. I can not be teaching you with sub-par things. [ Loki stood up then and as he did he was suddenly back in that snazzy suit and his hair prefectly in place moving over to make himself some more coffee.]

I thank you for that the wish of luck, but I should be in no danger. As for charms I find them quite helpful, I have a few on me at all times and Thor as well even if he does not know it. Little trinkets I placed in his armor ages ago to protect the dolt.

[Her father could be a scary man if he wanted to be, Loki. Do approach with caution.]

I take my own magic very seriously, I traveled many of the realms just to prefect my crafts. I am one of the best on all of Asgard so I cant have an apperentance learn things from me only half way.

If you'd like when I return I could make then for you then teach you as I do so you have them at the start? That way you know they are made right?

[ He smirked a little though, he was plotting.]

Maybe you should help us with the education system here. Think of all the kids, getting hardly anything because the wrong people are teaching.

That sounds like a good idea. The best way to learn is to copy.

[ He did have a long history of flirting with danger. He was just more subtle about it then then Thor was.]

I can not see myself teaching mortal children. The last child I taught was my daughter Hel, and though she be a powerful goddess and ruler of her own realm I still think I would rather not.

[ He looked over at her.] Next time I see Thor I shall take him to the bar myself. You will need to have those pills and coffee ready by morning and know that I aim to cause some mischief with my brother. Just know this in advance.

[Of course he was. Thor used a hammer for pete's sake.]

Well, you're smarter than some other people out there then.

[She grins. Poor Thor. She loves him, she really does, but Loki's plots are too much fun to pass up sometimes. At least this will give her an excuse to chide him about the evils of getting drunk.]

Don't treat him too badly. I still got a soft spot for the big puppy.

[ Well yeah, true.]

Of course I am. I take great pride in my intellect. One's intellect is the best weapon one will even have. The right words and thoughts can tip the scales. This is one of the many reasons Thor used to always insist me be at his side when he rode into battle. Sometimes I had to talk sense into him or the otherside.

[ Or lie, whichever worked to his own benefit. And yes it was not going to be pretty much only one Flaw with Loki's plan. he cant hold it like Thor can, but he'd think of something for that.]

No but there is simply no need for that, I did it for my own reasons. It is only in recent times i have found out he was not my brother. Most of our history together was the feel of I must keep my brother alive.

Yeah, I have been wondering about that too. She can't seem to figure it out, so we think she has a bug. It should go away in a few days...
