[Late night has Stage Restaurant open.]

How much longer you think this place is open?

I can keep it open as late as you need.

[Mark walks in, sitting at one of the tables and looking over the menu.]

I probably won't take too long. In fact, I can take it to go. Just realized I hadn't eaten yet today and... kind of caught up with me.

[He looks up to the other guy.] Anything you recommend to a guy who doesn't eat meat?

I'm sure I can fix you something up.

[While it wasn't his forte he learned to have stuff on hand. He began cooking, his gun and badge still on his hip.]

I know about letting eating get away from you.

Yeah, you just get busy and then... it's late and dark outside.

[Mark rubs the palms of his hands over his face and then spots the weapon and badge.]

You're a cop.

Yeah Homicide actually. And no, no one was killed here.

[He finished making what looked to be a taco salad.]

Meatless crumbles, don't worry.

[Mark smirks, takes the meal with a quiet 'thanks' and takes a bite.] It's good. You actually work here?

It's mine actually.

That's nice. You're a busy man. Most of the cops I've met barely have any free time outside of whatever precinct they work in.

[He eyes the other man curiously.] Is cooking an outlet for you? Like a way to de-stress from a stressful job?

Yeah guess it is in a way. Also a way to keep this place going. When I played ball I always ate here.
