My suggestion is this: get to know some people... and don't be broody. I don't know if you are... but you look like you could be.

Hey, I'm just sayin', it looks like you could be. If you want to pick up girls and such, it's like a baitless hook - ya might catch something, or ya might not. If you're looking for people that will have your back... that's another story entirely.

Or guys. Whatever. Point is that broody doesn't win over people to be your friends. Usually. In my experience at the very least, and it doesn't seem like you're from around here, so just trust me on this.

*thinks* So... what's this "Dark Kingdom" place like? I must say it doesn't sound like much of a happy place. I mean, dark is in the name.

Hmph. You shouldn't judge a place by it's name, friend. The Dark Kingdom is a place of beauty and mystery. It is ruled over by our queen, Beryl. I am the leader of the Shitennou. We are warriors. Nephrite, Jadeite, Zoisite and myself.

I suppose that's true. Most places don't reflect their names anymore.

*blinks* Aren't those all the names of minerals?

[He nodded] Yes. Those names were given to us. I am Lord Kunzite of the Dark Kingdom. [He gave a small bow.]

...The beginning of.. Alright, just how old are you?

*nods, then pauses* I... Well, I would consider myself to be, and in the minds of most people I would likely fit the thought of what a vampire is. However, I do not fit folklore. I can't become mist or perform other such mythical feats. Scientifically speaking, I'm the result of rapid evolution brought on by exposure to certain isotopes in nuclear fallout. The result being that I have fangs, super strength and speed, increased senses, a weakness to silver, and the apparent ability to die an agonizing, fiery, slow death in direct sunlight.

So I suppose, basically, the answer is that I'm a mutant who would likely be considered a vampire by current culture.

I've never met a mutant or a vampire before. How curious. A weakness to silver you say? That could be dangerous. I don't use silver as a weapon, as dark energy is my weapon of choice. No threat from me.

No, no I am not - you see, it's rude to ask a lady her age, but asking a man is entirely fine. *grins* Oh come now, why not? No old jokes, I promise.

It's an odd weakness, really, and I doubt it's actually limited to silver. You see, a regular bullet could be pushed from my body rather easily and my body's healing factor could repair the damage. Silver, however, repels radiation - and my immune system has a trace amount giving it that overcharge that allows me to heal so quickly. Because the radiation is repelled from the wound though, the healing process is reduced to that of a regular human. In theory, anything that repels radiation should do the same thing as silver.

*quirks a brow* I would think that energy would be worse than silver. After all, silver is simply a material. Energy would take energy to be stopped.
