[ Flips Jane's bed in Thor fashion.]

[Jane is mortified. The books were saved so she could save those precious items in the now charred wooden box. Don't kill him yet, Jane.]
bifroster: (i don't study all night for nothing)

[As long as they could repair the damage, it would be fine. She did not care much for clothes or the damage to her house, or even the kitchen utensils. He managed to save the books, and it wasn't like he knew about the box.

She opens it gingerly and lets out a sigh of relief when she sees that there is just only minor heat damage. It all looks alright.]

Oh, thank god.
bifroster: (this lecture is a little weird even for)

[Jane laid them out carefully and held her breath, listening to the words so she could do this herself too. She knew he didn't mean to do this. It was an accident. Though this would mean cooking lessons for him.]
bifroster: (looking away doesn't make it go away)

[She sighed and shook her head, rubbing his back.]

No, it's okay. You weren't hurt and we saved what couldn't be replaced.
bifroster: (black holes swallow up everything)

[personal profile] bifroster 2012-06-04 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
That would drain you too much. Besides, I have plenty to do traditional repairs.

[Thor probably would be pissed. She would make sure to help with that though.]

You didn't get hurt, did you?
bifroster: (all is well now)

[personal profile] bifroster 2012-06-04 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, this world does have some limitations, doesn't it?

[She looks around the damage and sighs. She's never been through a fire before... and it is odd, knowing she could use magic to fix it all. She regrets being angry now.]

Show me how to do that spell. We could both work on it?
bifroster: (this lecture is a little weird even for)

[personal profile] bifroster 2012-06-04 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe?

[She does appreciate him offering, though.]

That's what I was thinking. I could repair a table or something. Work my way up to whole sections of walls.

[She nods and positions herself, closing her eyes. It always helped to do that and imagine the stars while she did this. Repeating the words, she imagines a dim nebula going back to its bright and wonderful colors.

And the table is fixed.]
bifroster: (moonlight doesn't dim stars)

Thanks, I'm still good to go. I think all of the adrenaline is doing this to me.

[Which means she'll probably be starving when they're done.]
bifroster: (the stubborness kicks in)

[personal profile] bifroster 2012-06-04 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Be sure not to do that!

[She shakes her head, knowing he probably would. So, she goes to focus on what she can do, and by doing one thing at a time, manages to get most of the appliances done (save for some of the ones she skipped because she needed to replace them anyways), and the floor. She forgets about the food, because really? Eew.]
bifroster: (explain that stupid theory again)

[personal profile] bifroster 2012-06-04 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[She was sitting down too, with a glass of water that she happily pushed over to him. She was feeling tired as well, and knew he wouldn't like to admit his. But he did use a lot of magic to restore her house; the rest would be done later.]

Rest a bit and find some lunch? My treat.
bifroster: (all is well now)

Do you have anything that might power your magic on Asgard?

[She's thinking it might be like a radio wave: the further you got from it, the weaker the signal, or in his case, the power he had access to. So it took him more energy to access and use it properly.]

Chinese will certainly do the trick. I'll call for some take-out.
bifroster: (i did not just forget to carry the one)

[personal profile] bifroster 2012-06-04 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Maybe that was it, but then Jane thinks to how much the world has changed. It might be interference from all of their technology. Not that your wife being ill wouldn't distract someone.]

Well, while I order, maybe you could think if it might be electronic interference?
